We offer a variety of shares so that you can build your own basket. We only ask that your choices add up to $17/week. Payment plan available!
Thanksgiving Turkey
   put down a deposit now, remainder due upon receipt
under 12 lb turkeys ($5/lb)
  • to secure your Thanksgiving turkey, put down a $30 deposit
  • these will be processed and frozen on November 11th, for November 25th use
  • sourced from two Kentucky farms and one in Indiana: Healthy Living Acres and award-winning Remington Ingram in Kentucky, and Slatchet Family Farm near Bloomington Indiana
  • pick-up dates for all turkeys are Monday and Tuesday, November 22nd & 23rd, from 9am-6pm at Grasshoppers Distribution, 1501 Portland Avenue in Louisville
 $30 deposit.
Remainder due upon receipt, payable with a check. 		turkey
20-30 lb turkeys ($4.75/lb)
  • to secure your 20-30lb Thanksgiving turkey, put down a $50 deposit
  • A LIMITED NUMBER will be processed on November 19th, and therefore can be purchased and picked-up FRESH, NEVER FROZEN!
  • the remiander will be processed and frozen on November 16th, for November 25th use
  • sourced from two Kentucky farms and one in Indiana: Healthy Living Acres and award-winning Remington Ingram in Kentucky, and Slatchet Family Farm near Bloomington Indiana

Staples Share-$34/week (plus a $2 refundable deposit on the milk bottle)
  • 4-5 chemical-free, seasonal produce items
  • 1/2 gallon milk (your choice of 2%, Skim or Whole)
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1 rotating item: butter, maple syrup, honey, gourmet mushrooms, sorghum, salsa, chow chow (a southern relish), drinkable yogurt (Add a protein share for a complete local package!)
$360 per share.
Includes $20 refundable bottle deposit of milk ($2 per jar, refunded at the end of the season). 		shares
Produce Only – $26/week (weekly deliveries)
  • 6 – 8 fresh, seasonal produce items from local, family farms.

Produce for Two – $17/week (weekly deliveries)
  • 4-5 fresh, seasonal produce items from local, family farms.

Milk Share – $3.75/week plus a $2 refundable deposit on the bottle (weekly deliveries)
  • 1/2 Gallon of low-temp pasteurized, non-homogenized milk from JD Country Milk.
  • Your choice of whole, 2%, or skim.

Blue Dog Bread - Levain or Cereal loaf – $3.95 a loaf/week
  • Your choice of a Levain or Cereal loaf.

Blue Dog Bread - Seeded baguette – $3.35 a loaf/week $33.50 per share. shares

Blue Dog Bread - Regular baguette – $2.95 a loaf/week $29.50 per share. shares

Pastured Eggs – $4/week
  • One dozen thick-yolked, vitamin rich eggs, from open-pasture raised hens.

Drinkable Yogurt – 1 qt, $5.50/delivery plus $1 refundable deposit on the bottle (biweekly delivery)
  • Delicious and filled with pro-biotic cultures, this yogurt comes in raspberry, peach, vanilla and strawberry. From JD Country Milk.
 $32.50 per share.
Includes $5 refundable bottle deposit ($1 per jar, refunded at the end of the season). 		shares

Mushrooms – $10/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • 3/4 lb bag of organic oyster mushrooms from Sheltowee Farm in Bath County.

Cow Cheese – $12/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • 2, 8 oz raw-milk aged cheeses per delivery.
 $60 per share. shares

Goat Cheese – $8/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • 1, 4 or 8 oz log per delivery. Surface-ripened, aged and fresh cheeses from award-winning Capriole in Southern Indiana and Bluegrass Chevre in Fayette County, the first cheese maker in the Commonwealth to use 100% Kentucky goat’s milk.

Pastured Chicken – $17/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • 1 frozen 4 lb-range whole chicken. Pasture raised foods are lower in saturated fats & higher in essential nutrients.
 $85 per share. shares

Pastured Beef – $ 12/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • 1, 3 lb roast or 2 lb ground beef per delivery. Raised in the pasture, this beef has higher levels of vitamins A & E, and essential fatty acids.
 $60 per share. shares

Mixed Meat – $22/delivery (biweekly deliveries)
  • Approx. 4 lb of various KY proteins per delivery. For the locavore that would like to try pork, chicken, lamb, and beef.
 $110 per share. shares
